Overhead line support poles

Overhead line support poles are designed for installing cables that supply electrical energy for the operation of urban electric public transport.

Overhead line support poles are metal supporting structures on which contact network devices are mounted. These supports have a high load-bearing capacity and the ability to absorb and carry the load from electrical wires that ensure the operation of urban transport and auxiliary equipment.

Steel gratings are made of high-quality steel in accordance with GOST 380-2005 and GOST 19281-99, GOST 17066-94, corrosion protection is carried out by hot-dip galvanizing in accordance with GOST 9.307-89.

JSC "Prodmash Plant" offers its customers four groups of contact network supports:

• Flanged faceted overhead line support poles;
• Flanged pipe overhead line support poles;
• Straight-mounted pipe overhead line support poles;
• Straight faceted overhead line support poles.

According to the shape of the cross-section of the trunk, metal supports are divided into faceted (multifaceted) and tubular (round).

Key characteristics of metal contact network supports from JSC "Prodmash Plant":

• They have increased load-bearing capacity, which allows them to withstand loads from 300 to 3,000 kg.
• In addition to overhead wires, it is possible to install lighting fixtures, traffic lights and CCTV cameras.
• The design of the supports involves a technological hatch, with the help of which lighting and related equipment is serviced.
• The design of the overhead line support poles of a trolleybus or tram is designed in such a way that, under the influence of maximum load, the permissible movement of the upper support point does not exceed 1/70 of the height of the overhead part of the support in accordance with SP 98.13330.2012 “Tram and trolleybus lines Updated edition of SNiP 2.05.09-90” .
• Installation of overhead line support poles is possible from wind regions I to VII.

The metal overhead line support poles of JSC "Prodmash Plant" have an anti-corrosion coating by hot-dip galvanizing, in accordance with GOST 9.307. The use of this technology ensures maximum product life and does not require periodic renewal of the coating, which reduces maintenance costs.
