      They are the optimal solution for lighting hard-to-access areas where standard equipment and machinery cannot be used. They have high strength and stability, even under lateral loads, making them a reliable solution. Additionally, these poles can be easily folded and have a compact size.

      Advantages of mid-hinged flanged polygonal poles made by JSC «Zavod Prodmash»

      Non-load-bearing hinged polygonal poles can be used in areas where access for lifting equipment is difficult. The HFP-type pole eliminates the need for maintaining luminaires from an aerial platform, as the metal structure column rotates on a central hinge and lowers the upper part to the ground during maintenance.

      Even the 20-meter modification of the HFP poles can be serviced by a single installer without the use of specialized equipment or working at heights.


      They are made from sheet metal using a bending method with a single longitudinal welded seam and the formation of load-bearing edges to increase the pole's strength.

      High-quality certified sheet metal from leading Russian manufacturers is used for pole making. The material is chosen based on the climatic zone of operation according to SP 16.13330.2017, taking into account the safety factor.

      General characteristics:

      • Metal thickness: 3-6 mm.
      • Pole height: 5-20 m.
      • Column shape: Conically tapered towards the top.
      • Corrosion protection: Hot-dip galvanizing.
      • Climatic zones: II4...II11 according to GOST 16350.
      • Wind zones: I to VII according to SP 20.13330.2016.
      • External environment: Slightly aggressive (based on the degree of aggressive influence) according to SNiP 2.03.11.

      Pole installation is carried out on reinforced concrete foundations that include an embedded element. Embedded elements should be ordered separately (the recommended one is indicated in the table). The main parameters of the foundation are determined based on the climatic conditions of the operating region and the soil parameters through calculation.

      Equipment installation: Luminaire arms can be mounted on the pole. Sleeves with holes are provided in the upper part of the pole for mounting arms (bolts are supplied with the brackets). This pole type uses underground cable entry, through the windows of the embedded element. For wiring preparation there are access doors with planks for installing components and an earthing point (M10 bolt).

      Non-load-bearing poles are selected based on height, type of installed luminaire, and appearance (if decorative properties are required). Considering the purpose of this pole type, there are some limitations in terms of strength characteristics, as specified below. Wind zones are indicated according to SP 20.13330.2016 "Loads and Effects." The specified limitations are maximum, meaning that any arms with heights and lengths smaller than or equal to those specified can be installed on the pole.

      This pole type allows for installation:

      • arm with a length of up to 1.5 meters and two luminaires in wind zones of operation up to and including Zone II;
      • arm length of up to 1.5 m with one luminaire - in wind areas up to and including IV;
      • one floor lamp in wind areas up to and including V.

      In addition, lamps with an increased size of the upper part (Dv = 100 mm) allow for installation:

      • arms with a length of up to 1.5 m with four luminaires in wind areas of operation up to and including II;
      • arms with a length of up to 1.5 m with two luminaires up to and including IV wind area.

      Design of hinged flanged polygonal poles

      The folding pole consists of 3 conical faceted sections:

      • lower section (LS);
      • middle section (MS);
      • upper section (US);
      • The stationary part has a flange for attachment to the foundation;
      • The movable part is also made in the form of a facet structure and is fixed in the middle on the stationary part;
      • To provide rotation of the pole, a hinged type of rotating joint is used, as well as additional mechanisms.

      LS and MS are supplied to the customer assembled.

      The LS design provides for a flange for installing the pole on the embedded foundation component and an access hatch for accessing electrical equipment and the fixing assembly of the rotating part of the pole. The upper section design has a flange for attaching the lighting arm.

      The folding polygonal pole has underground cable supply.

      Installation

      Pole installation is carried out on reinforced concrete foundations, which must have an embedded element.

      Embedded elements are purchased separately.
